Believe it or not Gang...(I sure didn't!)

          I did locate a source for a P.T.H CEM manufacturer quite
          some time back !

          Itaucom S.A.!

          They were really price competitive with the International
          PWB market, and are located in Brazil, S.A..
          Their samples looked very good, and I even obtained a video
          of their facility.  Don't know the Reputation, or
          capabilities, but they were building for some large
          companies that desired the benefit of low end
          materials/labor (mostly consumer grade products).

We have used it for single sided boards and we found the Z expansion to be 
excessive. I would suspect plating vias would not be very reliable once 
thermal expansion started. I recommend speaking with your board vendors as 
they should have reliable data to go by.  -Ed Current

Has anyone used CEM1 substrate material?  Can CEM1
be plated through?

I believe it is a low cost material that is used
in the mass production of comsumer products.
Holes are punched rather than drilled.
