I second that Adobe is a great tool!  We use it to create a number of
documents that can be shared with anyone.  Like Assembly, Fabrication, Part
specification drawings, Schematics etc.  It also has come in real handy
when trying to relate Gerber generation/viewing problems.  A picture is
worth a thousand Vmail messages.

I print to PDF files from PADS PowerPCB and other Windows base programs..
It is as easy as installing the
Acrobat PDF print driver. I am running under Windows 95.
Check out their website www.acrobat.com. I think the program is ~$300. The
viewer is free.
