automation with the release of a new software program that utilizes proven
IPC standards for land pattern technology. The new "PCB Footprint Expert
(FPX) Lite" utilizes component dimensions and IPC-7351C standard rules to
auto-generate highly accurate solder patterns for printed circuit board
component assembly attachment. Users have access to the on-the-fly rule
settings to create personal customized library parts.
If you use Allegro, Altium, OrCAD PCB, Expedition, PADS, CADSTAR, CR-5000,
Pantheon, Pulsonix, OrCAD Layout, P-CAD, Ultiboard, Eagle and Dip Trace, you
need FPX Lite. More formats are coming soon (Board Station, Target 3000! and
Solo)!!
